The Martin Art Gallery has seen some powerful displays throughout the years, but none read as beautiful, or as heartbreaking as the current exhibit, “Representing Disease: The Stephanie Images,” by Charlee Brodsky. The pictures tell the story of a woman, Stephanie Bryam who was diagnosed with breast cancer and treated by excision, only to be tested positive for cancer again later.
The Rory Lowe Band had finished. Graham Colton had finished. The Life Sports Center was silent. Anyone would have thought that the onslaught of music and rythim provided by these two bands would have been enough. But then, the Student Band Festival began, and it blew any other artist that had preformed out the door.
Few movies have so tarnished the eyes of the public in such a manner that verbal abuse towards the writer of the film would be merited. Yet, this movie managed to find a way. How bad was this film? To give you a complete idea of just how incredibly abysmal Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow was, imagine your hand on fire, being eaten by a rabid chinchilla.
If one were to look for the Graham Colton Band playing on the Brown Lawn Saturday, they would have been met by drizzles and nothing else. Due to the inclement weather, The Graham Colton Band’s performance was moved to Memorial Hall. This allowed accommodations for a huge audience who, unfortunately, never showed up.
Aries It has been determined, that within the annals of time, the amazing wealth of written time that is yet to be, there is a passage regarding you. The words are cryptic, and speak vaguely of a life that could be, and the path that must be taken in order to obtain said life.
