David Rabold knows how great it feels to be a part of creating something fabulous. Throughout the past several months, the entire College community has watched the MacGregor Village trailers turn into brand-new M.I.L.E. apartments. Rabold is one of those people who really knows what goes on behind the scenes.
Sept. 11 - Theft - A computer system was stolen from the first floor of the Center of the Arts. The property has not been returned and there are no suspects at this time. Sept. 11 - Motor Vehicle Accident - A student's car ran into a wall at 27th and Tilghman Streets.
Student Council, Alumni Relations and Cardinal Key Society all collaborated last year to bring back SPIRIT Week, a tradition that had not taken place at the College for 15 years. Last year's week of events was an overall success, leading Student Council to sponsor this year's week of events leading up to Homecoming Weekend.
There are numerous staff and faculty on campus that dedicate their time and effort to the students here on campus. Most recently, Sheyam Sine, a General's Quarters Supervisor, received the Circle of Customer Excellence award (COCE). Last February, Sine decided that students at the College needed something more than just bagel bombs on their Friday and Saturday late night menus.
Over the past few months Campus Safety has been helping to install some new changes at the College. One of these changes includes new forms of emergency communication for students, faculty, and staff. Campus Safety has been working closely with the Office of Information Technology and the administration since last summer to install an emergency text messaging system called E2CAMPUS.
