In honor of Hillel's celebrations for Israel's 60th birthday, Nathan Gutman, grandfather of Jen Gutman '08, spoke in Miller forum last Tues., Mar. 11. The event was sponsored by America's Pro-Israel Lobby and Legacy Heritage Fund and was organized by Jon Falk '10 and Jen Gutman.
Upon her first visit to Muhlenberg College, Sara Keller '10 noticed an environment made up of committed and spirited students. It was an environment she felt destined to become a part of. After serving as a representative to the sophomore class, Keller felt it was time to step up and take on a new and more challenging role.
As far as semesters go, the next two are looking to be both exceptional and exhilarating for the College's Dr. William Dunham. The Truman Koehler Professor of Mathematics here at the College, Dr. Dunham will be spending the Fall 2008 semester teaching at Harvard University and the Spring 2009 semester on sabbatical in England at the University of Cambridge.
The last Student Body meeting of the semester took place on Tues., Mar. 18 in the Seegers Union lobby. The meeting began with Barrie Schessler '10, Treasurer of the Student Council, who informed the Student Body of budget deadlines for clubs and organizations for next year.
