MCTV wants you to say "I want my MCTV!"

Frank Barranca '06 is the first sophomore president of MCTV. He was the one to actually draft MCTV's first constitution. Also, under Barranca's leadership there have been recent behind-the-scenes looks at Muhlenberg Theater Association (MTA) productions including Electra and Dancing at Lughnasa, as well as several comedy performances that have been aired.
"What I would like to see is a set programming schedule," Barranca said. "Daily programming is the ultimate goal, but for right now, I'd like to see a new show each week."
MCTV does offer shows like Muhlenberg Tonight with Mitch Cooper and Breaking News featuring Scott Overland '06, and also covers the different annual specials such as the Henry Awards and Mr. Muhlenberg. Comedy shows that rival England's Trigger Happy TV have also popped up to entertain students.
Despite their small size, MCTV dares to dream big. They hope to eventually attain airtime not only throughout the College but throughout the surrounding area as well. "Hopefully, one day...MCTV will air throughout the Lehigh Valley area. I know it's insane, but in order to do that, we have to start small," explained Barranca.
